Nathan A. Limpert focuses his practice primarily in the areas of project finance, structured finance and institutional investing, generally. He focuses on financings in the power generation, energy, and sports and entertainment industries, as well as on various life settlement transactions. He also has broad experience with a wide range of general corporate matters, including workouts and restructurings. 

Nathan represents insurance companies and other financial institutions in a wide variety of financing matters with an emphasis in private placements of debt, project finance, acquisition finance and secured lending, generally. He has represented institutional investors in the stadium, arena or enterprise financings of NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and Premier League teams, including the Washington Redskins, the Chicago Cubs, the Philadelphia Phillies, the New Jersey Devils, Manchester United, the TD Garden in Boston, the American Airlines Center in Dallas, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, SunTrust Park in Cobb County, Georgia and the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Nathan also has represented institutional investors or project sponsors in the financings of power generation facilities, coal mining facilities, natural gas wells, ethanol production facilities, wind farms, solar energy generating projects, energy from waste facilities, biofuels facilities, airports, soft drink bottling facilities, automotive parts businesses, fiber-optic telecommunications assets, telecommunications and cable operating businesses and ambulatory surgery centers. He has structured and negotiated secured and unsecured debt, including credit facilities, private placements, mezzanine financings, secured and unsecured guarantees, subordinated debt financings and intercreditor arrangements. He has also represented financial institutions and project sponsors in various domestic and cross-border life settlement transactions, including secured acquisition and premium loans, policy purchases and sales (single policies and portfolios) and the structuring of investments in life settlement portfolios.
