Oliver Markmann is a Shareholder in the German Corporate/M&A team. He represents a wide range of private equity clients as well as large and medium-sized domestic and international companies (listed and unlisted).
Oliver focuses his practice on corporate matters, including corporate restructurings and general corporate law topics with a focus on stock corporations. He advises national and international clients in public and private M&A transactions and the structuring of Joint Ventures.
Another focus is to prepare and steer critical shareholder meetings, to implement mergers, spin-offs, domination / profit transfer agreements and the squeeze-out of minority shareholders. His experience also covers corporate litigation.
In 2022, Oliver was one of two lawyers in Germany to be named "Rising Star" for M&A by Legal500. He was also listed in "Best Lawyers - Ones to Watch" by Handelsblatt in 2021.
Oliver joined the team in 2013. In 2016, Oliver was seconded to Greenberg Traurig's London office.
