Kevin J. Quilty focuses his practice complex commercial litigation and arbitration with a concentration in the areas of construction, insurance and contractual disputes. Kevin practices in both state and federal courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration.

Experience

  • Defended major Japanese manufacturer and several of its U.S. subsidiaries in ICC Arbitration in California involving the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (“SONGS”) that stemmed from claimed failure of certain critical components manufactured and supplied by the Japanese manufacturer with claims exceeding $7 billion, and awarded fees and costs as the “prevailing party” in excess of $58 million.°
  • Represented major Washington, D.C., developer in breach of contract and negligence matter.°
  • Represented global advertising agency network in breach of contract and indemnification matter.°
  • Worked on an International Chamber of Commerce arbitration worth $7.5 billion, culminating in a six‐week hearing.°
  • Represented major Washington, D.C., developer in matter concerning corporate governance dispute.°
