Anne C. Reddy focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters, including false advertising, white collar, non-compete, bankruptcy, environmental law, and contract litigations before federal and state courts. She is experienced in large-scale complex litigations and supervising multiparty electronic discovery.

Experience

  • Represented a subsidiary of Korean Telecom in a breach of contract action arising from the largest corporate fraud ever prosecuted in South Korea, achieving a more than $30 million jury award in California state court.
  • Defended independent directors in a well-known film and television studio from tort claims arising out of a lender’s investment in the studio; obtained dismissal of the complaint, affirmed by the Appellate Division on appeal.
  • Defended a Peruvian biodiesel company and its officers and directors from tort claims and Securities Exchange Act claims asserted by an Israeli shareholder; obtained dismissal of the complaint, affirmed by the Second Circuit on appeal. 
  • Defended ORIX Capital Corp. and 11 national members of a lending syndicate in U.C.C. Article 9 and contract action involving a foreclosure on an underperforming debtor.°
  • Defended trader at a proprietary trading firm in litigation involving restrictive covenants in a competitor’s agreement.°
  • Defended an international "green" building non-profit organization in high profile litigation involving false advertising claims concerning its environmental building certification program.°
  • Represented an international orthopedic and prosthetic company in an internal investigation involving compliance with the Buy American Act.°
  • Represented an investor in the privatization of Azerbaijan’s oil industry in an investigation led by New York’s Attorney General involving violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.°
  • Defended an officer of a Texas-based software and services company in an action alleging securities fraud, insider trading and violations of other provisions of the federal securities laws.°
  • Managed a team of associates handling a habeas corpus petition on behalf of a Florida man on death row.°
  • Obtained 501(c)(3) status for a Native American organization providing AIDS/HIV prevention services.°
  • Obtained Supplemental Security Income benefits for low-income client in proceeding before the SSA.°
  • Represented the Natural Resources Defense Counsel in litigation involving southwest Florida wetlands.°
