Dr. Lisa Scudder is a Patent Agent experienced in intellectual property prosecution and counseling life sciences and biomedical engineering clients on intellectual property (IP) protection. She works closely with early-stage life science companies to strategically build and manage IP portfolios, reviews reports of invention, drafts U.S. and international patent applications, and drafts and reviews responses to U.S. and foreign office actions. Lisa is an inventor herself and has extensive scientific technical experience in various disciplines within the life sciences and bioengineering from her previous research as a postdoctoral research associate at Harvard University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and at the Wyss Institute for Bioinspired Engineering (Boston, MA). Lisa brings a scientist’s perspective into her practice to align her client’s IP strategy with clinical products and legal goals.
Lisa has deep scientific technical experience in the fields of pharmacology, stem cell biology, cardiovascular physiology, ion channel biology, cellular and molecular biology, and bioengineering.
