Brian Wong represents a wide range of clients in the health care space on issues related to M&A, health care regulatory and compliance matters. He supports wide-ranging clients including private equity firms, health care companies, biotech companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device companies, health care IT vendors and various health care providers including hospitals, physician groups, pharmacies including retail, specialty and compounding pharmacies), home health agencies, hospice providers, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and other diagnostic facilities such as laboratories and imaging centers. Brian also advises clients across the pharmaceutical supply chain, from manufacturers and wholesalers to group purchasing organizations.

In the M&A context, Brian provides health care regulatory counsel for acquisitions and dispositions. He addresses regulatory issues that arise in private equity and strategic investments in health care businesses. Brian also represents clients in health care audits and investigations, including False Claims Act matters and payor disputes such as pharmacy benefit manager network terminations.

Brian has experience counseling clients on federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act. He has guided health care businesses through regulatory requirements related to fee-splitting, corporate practice of medicine, licensure, accreditation, health care privacy, telehealth, and billing and reimbursement issues under Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors, including network terminations.
