LONDON – April 7, 2022 – A multi-office team of lawyers from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Papaya Global Ltd., an Israeli payroll and human resources (HR) software company, in its acquisition of Azimo, a global digital cross-border money transfer service. The acquisition will allow Papaya to use payment licenses in the UK, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and other locations.  The acquisition is subject to receipt of regulatory approvals from the Financial Conduct Authority and the De Nederlandsche Bank and is expected to complete later this year.

The Greenberg Traurig team assisting Papaya Global on the transaction was led by London Office Shareholder Sarah Moyles with support from Associate Jamie BallBerlin Office Local Partner Carsten Kociok advised on the regulatory aspects of the transaction.
