ORANGE COUNTY, CA – Oct. 1, 2018 –J. David Bournazian, a shareholder in the Orange County office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, led a team of attorneys in representing Urban Armor Gear, LLC (UAG), a brand leader in protective cases for mobile devices, in its sale to Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. (HKW), a private equity firm.
An outdoor/adventure brand, UAG was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Orange County. Its cases are designed to protect products such as phones, laptops, and tablets. The company’s management owners will retain significant equity ownership in the company moving forward.
