Greenberg Traurig Elevates 7 Attorneys in its Texas Offices

HOUSTON – Feb. 14, 2022 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has elevated Grant Cohen, Aimee Housinger, and Alicia Sienne Voltmer to shareholder and Nicole Bakare, Lolly Chauppette, Alan W. Hersh, and Josh Prywes as of counsel in its Texas offices.

Cohen, a shareholder in the Real Estate Practice in the Houston office, focuses his practice on general real estate finance matters, with an emphasis on all forms of affordable housing financings involving low income housing tax credits. He is experienced in bond financings and market real estate financings, including construction and permanent financing of multifamily projects.

Housinger, a shareholder in the Litigation Practice in the Houston office, focuses her practice on commercial and complex litigation in the tech, entertainment, health care, oil and gas, and financial services industries. She has also litigated patent, trademark, and product liability disputes nationwide.

Voltmer, a shareholder in the Labor & Employment Practice in the Dallas office, is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and AV® Preeminent® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubble®. She advises employers, from startup companies to Fortune 500s, in a wide variety of employment matters.

Bakare, of counsel in the Litigation Practice in the Houston office, focuses her practice primarily on general and commercial litigation. She also has deep experience in both representing and advising clients with respect to insurance coverage issues.

Chauppette, of counsel in the Real Estate Practice in the Dallas office, has a broad-based real estate practice and has experience representing purchasers and sellers in acquisitions and dispositions of improved and unimproved real estate, developers in the creation of mixed-use condominiums, luxury apartments, and in the development of shopping centers, lenders and borrowers in the negotiation and preparation of loan documentation, and landlords and tenants in the leasing and management of retail, office, restaurant, and industrial properties.

Hersh, of counsel in the Litigation Practice in the Austin office, focuses his practice on general litigation matters. He is experienced in handling asset purchase negotiations, lien and land restrictions on client holdings, immigration issues, and criminal appeals.

Prywes, of counsel in the Tax Practice in the Dallas office, focuses his practice on federal, international, multistate, and local tax planning and implementation for both U.S. and foreign companies. Prywes has advised a variety of businesses on the tax implications of inbound and outbound transactions. He regularly structures and negotiates complex partnership and corporate agreements throughout the United States and has experience advising clients on the tax implications of real estate transactions and corporate mergers and acquisitions.
