Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria assists BC Partners and Kervis in the acquisition of a Complex in Milan to Develop Mixed-Use Scheme

MILAN – 25 Feb. 2022 – A team from Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria assisted BC Partners and Kervis with the acquisition of an office complex in Piazza Trento, in the Porta Romana district of Milan from Europ Assistance Italy. This acquisition is BC Partners’ second real estate investment in Italy, with Kervis acting as local operating partner.

The investors said they will redevelop the complex into a brand-new mixed-use scheme extending over ~9,000 sqm. The redevelopment will include offices and apartments for sale. The property, fronting the Porta Romana railway yard, previously served as the Italian headquarters for Europ Assistance, a leader in assistance and care services.

The Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria team led by shareholder Marzio Longo, together with senior associate Paolo Bolis and associate Mara Penasa, assisted the clients in all phases of the portfolio acquisition.
