DENVER – Feb. 18, 2022 – David A. Zetoony, co-chair of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s U.S. Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice, presented and moderated a webinar for the National Retail Federation’s 2022 Retail Law Summit virtually Feb. 15.
Zetoony’s panel, titled “The Ever-Shifting Sands of Privacy: How Retailers Prepare and Cope,” discussed recent and future changes in privacy compliance obligations for retailers, how often privacy programs need to be reviewed, how to track developments in privacy law, differences between retail and other industries, and more.
Zetoony focuses his practice on helping businesses navigate data privacy and cybersecurity laws from a practical standpoint. He has helped hundreds of companies establish and maintain ongoing privacy and security programs, and he has defended corporate privacy and security practices in investigations initiated by the Federal Trade Commission and other data privacy and security regulatory agencies around the world, as well as in class action litigation.
