Greenberg Traurig’s Jeffery M. Chiow and Michael Pusateri to Speak on Executive Orders and Binding Government Regulations at ABA Special Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 10, 2022 – Jeffery M. Chiow and Michael Pusateri, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Washington, D.C. office, will host a panel titled “Executive Orders and Binding Government Regulations” for special meeting of the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law Section Acquisition Reform & Emerging Issues Committee May 12 at noon in person and online. Chiow represents clients in litigation and government investigations related to government contracts, including federal and state bid protests and claims. Many of the bid protests that he litigates involve enterprise critical matters with billions of dollars at stake. Chiow has deep experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, as well as cybersecurity, technology services contracting, and schedule contracting. Prior to entering private practice, he was a U.S. Marine Corps weapons and sensors officer in the F/A-18D Hornet. This experience informs Chiow’s work with cutting-edge technology in the areas of space systems, cloud computing, weapons platforms, and IT systems.

He also advises businesses on compliance matters, working with government contractors to develop tailored strategies for addressing complex business, legal, and regulatory issues. In particular, Chiow is a recognized leader in the constantly evolving area of cybersecurity, including compliance with Department of Defense cyber and supply chain requirements and the cybersecurity maturity model certification initiative and related investigations and disclosures.

Pusateri defends national and international companies and individuals in state, federal, and administrative tribunals across the country. In the administrative context, he has represented the mining and insurance industries in rulemaking proceedings, regulatory challenges, adjudications, and appeals before the Department of Labor and other agencies and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals.
