Greenberg Traurig is a Partner of the Legal LUBLINnovation 2024 Conference

WARSAW – 10 April 2024 – Greenberg Traurig is an official partner of legal LUBLINnovation, an international conference to be held on May 23-24 at the Centrum Spotkania Kultur in Lublin.

This is the first event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, bringing together education and in-depth discussions on innovation in the legal industry. The conference is a unique opportunity for business networking and exploring new legal tech solutions available on the market.

The event will cover technological aspects, project management, legal design and brand new career perspectives related to the legal profession. The conference will feature inspiring lectures, talks and interactive workshops that will engage participants and introduce them to the world of innovation and technology in the legal industry.

"The expansion of artificial intelligence in everyday life and business brings not only enormous opportunities and potential, but also risks and threats. There is still a lack of regulations that provide a framework of security for users and those indirectly affected by artificial intelligence. We are witnessing very dynamic changes in the functioning of the economy, and the legal profession should not be left behind. The legal LUBLINnovation conference is a great opportunity to discuss these issues with experts whose valuable knowledge may influence the further development of legal tech in Poland. I am very pleased that Greenberg Traurig has become an official partner of the conference, as our firm will be proudly represented by experts and innovation enthusiasts who will have the opportunity to share their experience" – said Michał Fereniec, Deputy Managing Partner and Head of TMT in Greenberg Traurig Warsaw office.

"We have to realise that in our industry, the legal industry, it is no longer possible to remain the so-called 'innovator after six o’clock'. - In order to keep up with the dynamics of change, innovation has to be a constant part of what we do. This is what we want to talk about at Legal LUBLINnovation, a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. The partnership with Greenberg Traurig is a great honour for us and we are delighted to have three experts on our stage - each sharing their experience from a different area. We are looking forward to meeting them in Lublin," said Aneta Baranowska, conference organiser and co-founder of the 'legalny design' team, which brings together design enthusiasts in the legal world.

Industry experts from around the world have been selected as speakers at the legal LUBLINnovation conference. Among them is Maciej Kacymirow, Local Partner and Attorney-at-Law in the Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig, who focuses his practice on tax aspects and the implementation of artificial intelligence in the legal world. Other panelists will include Maciej Tąkiel, Business Development and Innovation Director in the Warsaw office, and Willy Kleinoth, Senior Legal Innovation Manager in Greenberg Traurig Berlin office.
