ATLANTA – Feb. 6, 2026 –Alison Elko Franklin, shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Restructuring & Special Situations Practice, will serve as a facilitator and instructor for the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Restructuring Boot Camp, taking place Feb. 11 in conjunction with the Distressed Investing Conference.
Franklin is among a distinguished group of restructuring professionals teaching the program, alongside the Honorable Thomas Horan, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Delaware; Jim Hogan, CTP, AlixPartners; and Glenn Siegel, Moore & VanAllen.
The TMA Restructuring Boot Camp is an intensive educational program designed for professionals seeking a deeper understanding of corporate restructuring. The program provides practical insights into the financial, managerial and legal challenges faced by distressed companies and is taught by TMA-certified turnaround professionals and other experienced restructuring professionals.
TMA is the most professionally diverse organization in the corporate restructuring, renewal, and corporate health space, according to the organization. Established in 1988, TMA has nearly 10,000 members across 54 chapters worldwide, including 34 chapters in North America. Members include turnaround practitioners, attorneys, accountants, advisors, liquidators, and consultants, as well as academics, government employees, and members of the judiciary.
Franklin has held multiple leadership roles within TMA, both locally and globally, including service on the TMA Global Board of Trustees and the TMA Network of Women Committee, as well as previously serving as chair of the TMA Atlanta Chapter. She focuses her practice on advising debtors, trustees, creditors' committees, and creditors in corporate reorganizations, municipal reform, creditors' rights litigation, and distressed transactions. Franklin represents clients in Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 9 municipal debt adjustments, Chapter 15 cross-border insolvency proceedings, and Chapter 7 liquidations.
