LONDON – May 14, 2026 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s London office has advised Jamestown on its acquisition of Lion and Lamb Yard, a mixed-use property in Farnham, Surrey, on behalf of a DAX-listed company’s pension fund.

With a plan anchored in preserving and enhancing the property that was originally a 16th-century coaching inn along the London-to-Southampton route, Jamestown will focus on making thoughtful improvements to the property’s public areas and filling the scheme’s vacant retail units with occupiers that complement the existing mix and reflect the character of the town.

Greenberg Traurig was delighted to act as legal counsel to Jamestown and support its ambition of preserving the historic Lion and Lamb Yard, which has been a gathering place for the local community for nearly 500 years.

The sector-wide team was led by Real Estate Shareholder Danielle L. Martin and Real Estate Finance Shareholder Duncan Hubbard, and supported by Tax Shareholder Alex Tostevin, Labor & Employment Shareholder Virginia Allen, Real Estate Litigation Of Counsel Sue Wilson, Construction Law Of Counsel Kate Kirby, Real Estate Senior Associate Clémence Mimbulu, Real Estate Finance Senior Associate Monica Miranda, Tax Senior Associate Nicholas Villalta, Real Estate Litigation Senior Associate Sally Tang, Associate Luke Vaghela, and Trainee Solicitors Maymunah Hussain, Namrata (Nam) Ranpuria, and Brida Gabriella O’Grady.
