Greenberg Traurig advises GARBE Insite on joint venture for urban commercial real estate
Berlin, 9 October 2026 – Greenberg Traurig has advised GARBE Insite on the establishment of a joint venture with Proprium Capital Partners to invest in urban commercial real estate in Germany and across Europe.
GARBE Insite specialises in the development and asset management of urban commercial properties and is part of the GARBE Group, one of Germany’s leading real estate companies.
With a target investment volume of EUR 500 million, the joint venture plans to build a portfolio of urban commercial properties through both redevelopment and new-build projects in Germany and other European markets.
As its first investment, the joint venture has acquired a site of approximately 16,700 square metres in Munich’s Bogenhausen district from tk accelis, a company of the Thyssenkrupp Group. The partners plan to develop a commercial property with approximately 13,500 square metres of usable space. Around 70 per cent of the space has already been pre-let, with completion scheduled for the end of 2028.
Greenberg Traurig advised GARBE Insite on the legal structuring of the joint venture and all related agreements.
