Dante Campiverdi focuses his practice mainly on mergers and acquisitions, banking and regulatory issues and credit portfolios management.

Dante assists both Italian and international clients - including corporations, credit institutions, financial intermediaries and private equity funds - on a range of matters, such as M&A and private equity transactions in regulated areas as well as on corporate governance, banking & finance and compliance issues with the involvement of the Italian Banking Authority.

Dante also assists alternative asset managers and international funds in the managing of extensive credit portfolios – either performing or non-performing (NPLs or UTPs) – with a specific focus on the recovery of the receivables, either in the context of complex restructurings or by judicial proceedings.

  • Assistance to a primary London based Investment Firm for the acquisition (and previous obtainment of the relevant authorization from the Bank of Italy) of a majority stake in an Italian financial intermediary specialized in the consumer finance sector°
  • Assistance to the world’s oldest auction house, Austrian based, in the acquisition (with previous obtainment of the relevant authorization from the Bank of Italy) of the pawn loan business branch from a primary Italian bank being the Italian's leading pawn-credit service provider°
  • Assistance to a Mexican company, leader company in the world of marine species, in the acquisition, and relevant financing, of a major water park in Italy
  • Assistance to the majority shareholder of a major Italian credit institution specialized in the factoring of receivables vis-à-vis the Public Sector in connection with the Initial Public Offering of the company’s shares and their listing on the MTA Italian screen-based trading system managed by Borsa Italiana
  • Assistance to a primary USA based Private Equity Fund in the acquisition (with previous obtainment of the relevant authorization form the European Banking Authority) of an Italian specialized banking group leader in collection management and factoring of receivables due from the Public Administration and Healthcare systems in the European Union°
