Elizabeth (Liz) Harding helps organizations protect and commercialize of their data assets. Liz is qualified in Colorado and the United Kingdom, and has over 20 years of experience focusing on privacy and data matters, including deep familiarity with the GDPR, CCPA, and various other U.S. federal, state, and international privacy and cybersecurity regulations.

Liz applies a risk based approach to privacy compliance, marrying deep technical know-how with industry experience. She supports clients across a wide array of industries including advertising, media and telecommunications, entertainment, financial services, health care, hospitality, retail, education, AI, and cloud based technology.

  • Assisted multiple U.S.-based financial services organization in understanding and complying with their enterprise-wide privacy compliance obligations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Assisted a U.S. publicly traded clinical trials organization in connection with its enterprise with privacy compliance obligations, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.°
  • Assisted a U.S. publicly traded social media company in connection with an overhaul of its privacy compliance process and procedures, including strategic counseling in connection with supervisory authority investigations and data sharing between subsidiary organizations.°

  • Counsels clients in connection with the privacy and data licensing issues associated with their open source intelligence (OSINT) products.
  • Advises financial services clients in connection with their obligations under the NYDFS cybersecurity regulations.
  • Advises multinational clients in connection with use of cookies and tracking technologies on their digital platforms, including their varying obligations the EU ePrivacy Directive.
  • Advises UK organizations on their compliance obligations under US and Canadian privacy laws, including CCPA and PIPEDA.
  • Provides strategic advice to large privacy enhancing technology (PET) vendor in connection with its product development matters.
