Tomo Takaki combines private sector experience with over a decade of military intelligence service. He represents clients in complex litigation matters, drawing on his background in national security, regulatory compliance, and appellate advocacy. His work spans federal and state court litigation, regulatory matters, and appellate proceedings.
Tomo has handled discovery and deposition proceedings in commercial litigation, drafted regulatory compliance policies, and prepared motions and briefs for federal court matters. He has deep experience in appellate practice, having served as a law clerk to Judge Ryan D. Nelson on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and authored multiple appellate briefs.
His military intelligence background enhances his approach to complex legal analysis and strategic planning. As an Army Reserve intelligence officer, Tomo coordinated with federal agencies including the FBI and Department of Justice on national security matters related to terrorism prosecutions. He conducted intelligence operations in Afghanistan and most recently served at Pearl Harbor-Hickam, where he managed intelligence analysis for the Pacific and Indian Ocean regions.
