Mikhael Tomlinson focuses his practice on the clearance, maintenance, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and rights of publicity. He also evaluates the strength of brand names, identifies infringing domain names, and helps clients implement domain name enforcement strategies. Mikhael also enforces clients’ intellectual property rights on social media and on user-generated content sites.



  • Conduct U.S. Preliminary Clearance Searches for Trademarks
  • Draft bi-weekly trademark memorandums to clients, notifying them of potentially confusingly similar marks.
  • Help analyze and review weekly trademark watch notices to determine enforcement strategy
  • Draft UDRP complaints to terminate infringing domain names
  • Conduct weekly domain name review and analysis to determine whether the client should take action or monitor the domain name
