Fiorello "Rico" Vicencio Jr.

Fiorello “Rico” Vicencio Jr. focuses his practice on representing private and public companies, as well as venture capital and private equity firms, in a variety of business and financial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings. Rico also plays a lead role in GT's initiative focusing on emerging growth companies based in the D.C. area and nationwide.

Rico also serves as outside general counsel to a number of client companies. In this role, he provides counseling on a broad range of general corporate matters, including corporate governance, securities law compliance and reporting, commercial agreements (VAR agreements, licenses, and SaaS subscription agreements), and other strategic commercial relationships involving matters such as joint ventures and teaming agreements.

Rico represents technology-related businesses, including those involved in social media, IT-based government contracting, web-based services and applications, clean energy technologies and life sciences. Rico also has experience advising clients on transactions and other corporate matters in defense contracting (training, military supplies, intelligence), financial services, broadcast towers and management consulting.
