Courageous Conversations: Fireside Chat with John Rogers in Honor of Juneteenth

John W. Rogers, Jr., Chairman and Co-CEO of Ariel Investments, founded and leads the first minority-owned asset management firm in the U.S. During this Courageous Conversation in honor of Juneteenth, John will speak about his dynamic familial legacy of excellence, education, business and finance, and how that legacy has shaped his journey.

John’s great-grandfather was J.B. Stradford, who was owner of the Stradford Hotel, the largest Black-owned hotel in the United States at the time of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. In a full-circle moment, John recently helped finance the documentary Before They Die! which features survivor accounts of the massacre.
