ALBANY, N.Y. – July 24, 2023– Tricia A. Asaro, co-chair of the Health Care & FDA Practice of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP , spoke at the WTW 2023 Healthcare Risk Conference July 21 at the JW Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee. Her panel was entitled “Mergers & Acquisition Trends in Managed Care.”
The annual conference is centered around risk management strategies, skill development, and networking. Panelists discussed trends related to transactional risk in managed care. They also discussed acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, transactional risk transfer, private equity, and due diligence best practices.
Asaro, who also serves as administrative shareholder and chair of the Health Care & FDA Practice in Albany, has wide-ranging experience handling health care transactions, particularly regulatory approval of changes in control of health care entities. Her experience also includes representing health plans in business negotiations, regulatory compliance matters, and corporate governance issues.
