Greenberg Traurig Elevates Atlanta Litigation, Immigration Attorneys

ATLANTA – March 12, 2024 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated Sydney Fairchild Williamson to shareholder and Miriam C. Thompson to of counsel in its Atlanta office.

Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig reported more than $2.3 billion of revenue for FY 2023, a 6% increase over the prior year and the 10th consecutive year of record revenue. The firm also announced the elevation of 60 attorneys to shareholder and of counsel. The 38 new shareholders span 20 offices and 12 primary practice areas. The 22 attorneys elevated to of counsel and local partner serve clients from 14 offices, practicing in 11 primary areas of law.

Williamson is a member of the Litigation Practice. She defends pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer product manufacturers in complex civil litigation, focusing on products liability and mass torts. Her experience also includes medical malpractice defense, environmental and toxic torts, business torts, financial services, and contractual disputes.

Thompson is a member of the Immigration & Compliance Practice. She advises employers on U.S. business immigration, including intracompany transferee programs, specialty occupations, traders and investors, religious workers, labor certifications, trainees, extraordinary ability petitions, and national interest waivers. She also counsels employers on immigration compliance and on developing related compliance programs and assists multinational employers with the global transfer of personnel.
