LONDON – May 11, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has been shortlisted for four Legal Business Awards, including Global London Law Firm of the Year, Capital Markets Team of the Year, Real Estate Team of the Year, and Restructuring Team of the Year.
This is the second consecutive year in which the firm has received four nominations at the awards, which, according to the publication, recognize exceptional client service, strategic vision, innovation, and the professional impact of law firms, teams, and individuals across the U.K. and international legal profession.
Alongside the overall Global London Law Firm of the Year nomination, Greenberg Traurig earned recognition for the following matters:
- Capital Markets Team of the Year: Representing Mayflower Acquisition Limited on the English and U.S. law aspects of its $500 million initial public offering and listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. The transaction marked the first completed London-listed acquisition vehicle since 2023 and reinforced the team’s market-leading position in this highly technical and cross-border segment.
- Real Estate Team of the Year: Advising The UK Housing Platform Fund, advised by Waypoint Asset Management, on its £1.1+ billion take-private of The PRS REIT plc. The landmark transaction involved one of the U.K.’s largest professionally managed rental housing platforms and represents the largest single-family PRS housing deal completed in the U.K. to date.
- Restructuring Team of the Year: Advising Growler Mining Tuscaloosa, LLC on the financial restructuring of Argo Blockchain plc, a dual London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq-listed cryptocurrency mining company. The transaction marked the first-ever Part 26A restructuring plan involving a Nasdaq-listed company where the listed issuer itself was restructuring its securities.
