Santiago Torres Pontones

Santiago Torres Pontones focuses his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. Since the beginning of his professional career, Santiago has advised domestic companies on complex transactions, ranging from due diligence and advisory services in share and asset purchase transactions to the dissolution, merger, and incorporation of companies. He has experience in leading firms, both local and international, as well as in the corporate sector, and his multidisciplinary approach has enabled him to provide comprehensive strategies in highly regulated markets and cross-border scenarios.

In his role as an attorney in Mexico, Santiago has participated in high-profile transactions, including the structuring of commercial agreements. Previously, Santiago worked as a legal intern at well-known firms, where he took part in financing projects and the drafting of contracts in international contexts. He is also licensed as a Certified Court-Appointed Translator by the Judiciary of the State of Nuevo León.
