Izabela Żmijewska focuses her practice on real estate matters. She regularly advises clients on issues related to commercial real estate transactions, in particular in scope of negotiating and concluding lease agreements for commercial, office and warehouse space, and other real estate documents, as well as the performance and subsequent renegotiation of such agreements. Izabela has considerable experience in representing both landlords and tenants. She also advises on day-to-day services related to the management of clients’ real estate portfolios. She also has experience in legal analysis of the title to land intended for development with warehouse and commercial real estate before their acquisition and in handling real estate transactions, including financing and refinancing investments. Additionally, she provided day-to-day advice to manufacturers and dealers of luxury yachts.

  • Advised GLP Poland on the acquisition of two logistics warehouses in Janki near Warsaw. The properties have a total area of 37,600 sq. m.
  • Advised the subsidiary of Kulczyk Silverstein Properties on lease of the office and service space in the Ethos building in Warsaw.°
  • Advised Project Pruszkow sp. z o.o., a company from the ECC Real Estate group, on commercialization and day-to-day services related to the Nowa Stacja shopping center in Pruszków.°
  • Advised AFI Europe on negotiating lease agreements for space in the V.Offices building in Kraków.°
  • Advised Polish and foreign investors and investment funds on the process of negotiation and conclusion of retail and office space lease agreements, mainly in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań and Wroclaw, as well as warehouse lease agreements.°
  • Advised the subsidiaries of the Octava FIZAN investment fund, related to Octava S.A., on the legal due diligence and purchase transaction of the Obrzeżna building in Warsaw and the Baltic Business Center in Gdynia.°
  • Advised on the purchase of six office properties by the Octava FIZAN investment fund: FDS Plaza and Light House in Warsaw, Quattro Forum in Wrocław, Winogrady Business Center in Poznań, Red Tower in Łódź and Alfa Plaza in Tricity.°
  • Advised a subsidiary of Rank Progress S.A. on the sale of Galeria Świdnicka.°
  • Advised on the preparation of contracts related to the sale of commercial real estate, also as part of the sale & lease back transaction.°
  • Advised clients on the works connected with due diligence analyses related to properties, in particular in the scope of legal title to properties, lease and tenancy agreements.°
  • Advised clients on the works connected with real estate financing and refinancing transactions.°
