39th National Institute on White Collar Crime

The ABA Criminal Justice Section will present its 39th National Institute on White Collar Crime in San Francisco. The two-day institute will discuss hot button issues of global significance to white collar practitioners, including new trends in FCPA enforcement, new priorities and expectations with securities enforcement, health care fraud, developments and future expectations in antitrust, money laundering, the Criminal Tax Enforcement, and more.

Kara Bombach will serve as a speaker on the panel titled "SKILLS – Sanctions and Export Control Enforcement Agenda: 2024 Update.” Panelists will discuss key issues such as multilateral cooperation, enforcement initiatives and priorities, risk mitigation, and economic sanctions compliance. Additional panelists include Matthew Axelrod (assistant secretary of commerce for export enforcement, U.S. Department of Commerce), Matthew Olsen (assistant attorney general for national security, U.S. Department of Justice), and Michael Lieberman (treasury OFAC enforcement).
