MEXICO CITY – May 13, 2021 – The Mexico City office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP was recognized on the “Super Companies 2021” (Super Empresas 2021) list published by Grupo Expansión Magazine, a Spanish-language news magazine targeted to business markets in Mexico and Latin America.
The annual ranking aims to analyze and present the reality of the Mexican business environment in terms of the practices that influence the culture and climate of an organization. The 2021 ranking included 264 companies divided into three categories according to the number of employees: companies with more than 3,000 employees, companies with 500 to 3,000 employees, and companies with fewer than 500 employees. Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico City office was recognized in the category of fewer than 500 employees.
“We are honored to be recognized by Grupo Expansión for our dedication to creating a culture and environment that helps to motivate our staff, even during the most challenging times,” said José Raz Guzmán, managing shareholder of the firm’s Mexico City office and co-chair of the firm’s Latin America Practice. “This recognition reinforces our commitment to implementing effective practices that support our employees’ personal and professional development.”
The study found that ranked companies motivated their employees and focused on future growth potential, allowing them to overcome a year of uncertainty in the face of weak economic growth, a drop in consumption, pending structural reforms, and the impact of new fiscal and labor regulation. A total of 969 companies participated in the process, of which only 264 were recognized.
