Víctor has over 12 years of experience in corporate law. He focuses his practice on capital markets, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and refinancing, among others. He has experience working on sophisticated corporate and financial operations for both governmental and non-governmental entities in Mexico and abroad.



  • Advised the Federal Government of Mexico and the 32 Entities in the securitization of the Multiple Contributions Fund, which was carried out through the implementation of an issuance program for up to MXN $50,000 million for the issuance of the fiduciary debt certificates “BONOS CIEN”.°
  • Member of the team who advised Mexico’s Federal Government in the international issuance and placement of Mexico’s Catastrophic Bonds (CATBONDS).°
  • In 2017 and 2018, advised Mexico City’s Government in the implementation and structuring of an annual issuance program backed by the Federal Government. This was the first green bonds issuance of its kind made by a city in Latin America.°
  • Member of the team that represented several Mexican States in the restructuring and refinancing of the totality of their public debt, including of up to MX$46,000’000,000.00.°
  • Member of the team that advised a Federal agency in the structuring and implementation of Mexico’s first DIP Financing transaction under Mexico’s new Insolvency Law (Ley de Concursos Mercantiles).°
  • Continuous advice and representation to brokerage firms regarding national and international issuances and public placement of diverse types of equity and debt instruments.°
  • Represented a Mexican airline in the lease of several airplanes to one of the largest aircrafts constructors in the world.°
